MY STORY “THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL”

My Names Rachel as many of you know, I arrived here at Rampton in 1996, 26 years ago and my mental health wasn’t in a great place. I used to attack staff all the time and would use self-harm as a way of coping, I didn’t know what to do.
Fast forward to November 2021 suddenly I had a lightbulb moment and thought there’s more to my life than Rampton.
As you may already know I am moving on very soon, I am extremely proud of myself. I just want to say that every single one of you can and will do this too!!! If I can do it anyone can.
If you believe in yourself, others will believe in you, all I want to say now is follow your dreams and they will come true.
Good luck to each and every one of you!!
