Nottinghamshire Healthcare was featured as part of Nottingham student, Lydia Till’s university dissertation piece in 2020, focusing on the carers of people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. There are over 700,000 people taking care of loved ones with dementia from home who are lacking support for themselves. It’s time to recognise how they need care too. Carers are parts of a hidden society battling alone. Let’s make caring visible and valued.

Jim Radburn is included in this story. Jim helped develop the Working Age Dementia Service at Nottingham NHS Healthcare Trust for those diagnosed with early onset dementia and their caregivers.
