There doesn’t appear to be much going on. It seems a sad decline from the days when we had groups and meetings every day. I see there is nothing on Fridays. Why is this? I still presume that Rosewood has a large attendance on a Friday. With so much going on in the Trust, with its purpose of involving service users in its decisions, what has gone wrong?
Are there any more details about the Crisis House steering group? I would like to be involved.
Hi Michael thanks for your comment. Yes the work we do in the Involvement Centre has indeed changed! We are certainly doing more out and about more these days and getting involved across the Trust. The meetings we do have are based on outcomes and making changes and these can be large peices of work for everybody!
If you are interested in the Crisis House we have the regular meeting this Thurs at 1pm (7 May). This is a continuation of the work volunteers have been doing with the Crisis House prior to it opening and is still ongoing now that the Crisis House (Haven House) is open.
This Crisis House meeting is a joint partnership with volunteers in the Involvement Centre and Framework and takes updates on how the service is being run and provides valuable feedback and insight into what might change. We also regularly have an Involvement Volunteers who attends the staff meetings at the Crisis House.
Thanks for your comment Michael, it’s good to know that people are reading the blog and I hope to see you soon. Take care, Jonathan
