Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
When you’re caring for someone, it’s really important to make sure that you look after yourself too. There’s a lot of useful information out there for you and families as a carer. Caring can be very rewarding, but without the right support it can have a negative impact on your health, career, finances and relationships.
The Trust is a member of The Triangle of Care. One of the six elements of this is that staff are ‘carer aware’ and trained.
