Wathwood Hospital Headlines. Musical performance at the Yorkshire and Humber Involvement Network and a brand new feedback display!

Wathwood Hospital is located In South Yorkshire and works alongside our Involvement Team linking into Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust and the Forensic Division. They are also members of the Yorkshire and Humber Involvement Network.

The Yorkshire and Humber Network Group normally meet face to face in Wakefield. There is a excellent membership of our secure care hospitals and secure units. At the meetings, each site gets a chance to work with commissioners and NHS England along with the supporting team from Humber Teaching NHS Foundations Trust whose Involvement team is linked to all the sites from different providers . Due to Covid19, recent meetings have been held virtually. These meetings are a great place to link up and share what is going on across Yorkshire and Humber and to demonstrate how we work together to share best practice. We use some of this information in our Trust from an Involvement point of view

In March Wathwood Hospital attended and gave an update on the headlines and one of our Patients gave a musical performance

Following the Wathwood Update it was time for Karl, one of our patients to step up and ‘do his thing’!

Some feedback on the day

At Wathwood there is a brand new patient information screen outside our patients shop displaying feedback submissions by patients. It also allows us to display information and videos of other topics such as hate crime, for example.
