Why did you choose to work in the NHS?
I love the NHS and the support it offers everyone. I have seen the impact it has on family and friends in their time of need and wanted to be a part of that.
Describe what you do in 100 words or less.
I work within the management of adult mental health services for community services and inpatient rehabilitation for the North of the county. These teams work with a Recovery focus to support people to live a meaningful life in their own homes.
I work closely with the teams to make sure that we are able to offer best quality care.
This is a new role for me and one that I am enjoying.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy working with the teams. I work with some extremely caring people who work hard in challenging roles. I have upmost confidence that patients are at the heart of the clinicians care and decisions. It’s especially good when patient feedback confirms this!
What three words would you use to describe the NHS?
Caring, Busy, Ever-changing

Commitment to the future of the NHS.
