On Friday 24th July a group from Rosewood Involvement Centre had the privilege of attending Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation Trust’s AGM which was held at East Midlands Conference Centre.
We all had the opportunity to visit various exhibition stands, ranging from the Trust and its various parts, as well as charitable and other partner organisations.
There were over 50 stands in all giving a variety of information about their services. We were all very grateful for the freebies such as pens, sweets, chocolates, gadgets, and other promotional paraphernalia. The day also gave us the opportunity to catch up with other fellow members of the Trust
At question time we were very fortunate to be able to ask Ruth Hawkins (Trust chief executive), four questions on behalf of patients at Rampton Hospital. Julie Hall (executive director, forensic services) was also able to help answer some of these questions in more detail.
All of us who attended the day really enjoyed this annual event and we look forward to next year’s event.
