MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS WEEKS POETRY, PART 2.

Here is the second part of Adrian Kelley’s poetry for Mental Health Awareness Weeks (Ade Kelley Man O’ Words).

Person Who Thinks They’re Tarzan

You are but a child in the Jungle of life,
build a home and take a spouse,
you’re on the up and feel wild,
nothin’ ’bout you can be described as mild.

You are the man who thinks he’s Tarzan,
cars and bars are all you’re seen in, runnin’
free and shoutin’ like a wild thing.

You think you’re tough and get kinda rough,
look real hard, dislike the bard, read Body Hard,
do body building. This, you do with a sense of pride. Like the life, go along for the ride.

You’re the one who thinks he’s Tarzan,
Cars and bars are all you’re seen in,
runnin’ free and roaming like a wild thing.

Do your stuff and ruin our marriage,
drive your Porsche through our horse and carriage. You’ve done it before you’ll do it again,
so why should I trust you now?

You’re the man who thinks he’s Tarzan,
cars and bars are all you’re seen in,
runnin’ free and roaming like a wild thing!
