Hello again folks

I thought you might like to hear about what else I get up to when I’m not at work and wearing a scary mask!

We have three grandchildren temporarily living with us due to their Mum and Dad’s job and Covid-19.

The youngest was 8 on VE Day so we had a combined Birthday/VE Party. It has been a lot for children to take in, learning about the virus and also having Victory in Europe celebrations, but I think if explanations are done in a sensitive and uncomplicated way children get it.

Anyway, we had a great day and was surprised by a local photographer wandering around taking VE Day party photos, so everyone agreed.

The lady sent me the pictures and she added a background to some which I think turned out ok, what do you think?

We still have to deal with lockdown, but it doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun. We’re fortunate to have a garden so we can socially distance ok. Its maybe not so good if you live in a block of flats or terraced house but there are ways and means and I’m constantly uplifted by peoples resilience and determination to make the best of the situation.

I hope you all stay safe and look out for each other, Don’t forget there is lots of help and information on connect and the Trust website.

Take care all. Malc
