International Women’s Day, March 8th 2021 Women’s Services – Rampton Hospital Charity Walk

When Women’s Services patients asked “what can we do this year for International Women’s Day on March 8th 2021”, bearing in mind it was going to be different due to COVID 19 and the social restrictions that are in place, Women’s Services, patients and The Diamond Recourse Centre (DRC) along with the Therapies Therapies and Education Department (TED) came up with a charity walk around the Women’s Services compound. Many patients took part and enjoyed the day.

We raised a total of £63 pounds for the local women’s refuge.

Thank you to TED, DRC Staff.  Technical Instructors, (TI) Therapeutic Involvement Worker’s (TIW) and Occupational Therapists (OT).

The work and involvement at keeping them engaged is appreciated, which is evidenced with letters and cards they send to us. You never stop surprising me with what you do, from one proud manager  Kath.

Kind regards

Kath Alder

Diamond Resource Centre Manager (DRC) (RMN)

  1. Thank you Kath to you and your amazing Team for facilitating this event. I am so pleased we were able to commemorate this significant day despite all the challenges at present. We couldn’t have done it without you
