Happy Birthday to the NHS from Stuart!

boules
In the absence of a photo of the lovely Stuart, we’ve opted for a photo depicting his superpower!

My name is Stuart Croxall, I have worked in the SUCE office of the Involvement Team for about 3 years. I work part-time though the Bank-Admin system. My main duties relate to the How Did We Do forms (the Trustwide feedback survey). I label and post out forms to the many departments who in turn hand the forms to their service users.  I also help input the completed/returned forms into the computer system that analyses the responses for each Team. I have other duties as well, including helping with Care Opinion.

To be honest I did not choose to work for the NHS, I was initially “sent” by an agency. I do, however, choose to stay within the NHS. I get more job satisfaction than in previous miscellaneous roles. By passing user opinions to colleagues at the coal face, that they have done something well (or badly), I get a feeling of useful contribution, as opposed to ‘that’s what I am paid to do, so I do it’.

3 words about NHS: Big. Essential. Everyone.

Birthday present: Cast iron guarantee that it would stay in public ownership.

Follow our countdown to the NHS’s 70th birthday as we post a blog a day.
