At Notts Healthcare we are celebrating as a Team of Involvement champions working across our Offender Health sites to make a difference together. We are doing this in many ways; one of them is in the way we collect and respond to Feedback about our services. The Champions made up of staff and volunteers meets regularly and together we share best practices and help identify ways to work better and smarter around feedback. From this we can share the feedback with services to make changes and improvements based on what we are being told by patients. We rotate the venue which means we can visit each of the HMP sites. This is really helpful to us all in getting to understand the local environment. Every prison is different.
We now have a Newsletter and a quality improvement plan developed from the Service User Carer Experience Survey (SUCE) run bi yearly. A fantastic response rate of 99% has amazed us all but more importantly what we do with the information gathered from our service users about the care they receive is what really matters.
This team works in partnership with volunteers and the Trust Involvement Team with the aim of helping to bring about changes in Culture, Services and Lives
