Where do you work and what is your job? I work at Care Opinion. We are independent of the NHS, but we provide a platform for people to give anonymous feedback about their care. We also support NHS staff to use these stories for learning and change
How would you describe the partnership with Notts HC FT : Care Opinion and Notts HC FT have worked together since 2009, enabling people to share honest feedback easily and without fear. Stories are directed to wherever they can help make a difference within the trust and all stories and responses are publicly available on careopinion.org.uk.
How would you describe the NHS in three words?
Caring, revolutionary, fragile
If you could give the NHS any 70th birthday present what would it be?
Birthday cake for everyone. For all the hard working staff (front line and behind the scenes), for all the patients and service users, and for their families too (who are also an important part of the story). The NHS, like cake, brings lots of people together. Let’s celebrate that togetherness.
