Our Involvement Volunteers at Rampton Hospital

Our Involvement Volunteers met up at Rampton Hospital recently to attend and support the PD Pathway Patient Involvement meeting. The volunteers are always welcomed by our staff and the patients are always delighted to see them. They are a familiar sight on the wards and have built up trust over time with patients, carers and staff.  Our volunteers help to collect patient feedback for our Service User and Carer Experience Survey (SUCE)Capture

………they also collect story based feedback on paper forms on  Care Opinion CareOpinion_Logo_2_colour_RGB_300dpi_with_straplineOur Involvement Volunteers support Recovery events and Recovery College courses. There is a Recovery College based at Rampton Hospital. Our colleges help students learn skills to improve their mental health.

Our volunteers do lots of amazing things. A patient from the PD Service worked in partnership recently with our Involvement volunteers co-delivering interview training. Our volunteers with lived experience take part in staff interviews. Their voices are listened to and really matter. How brilliant is that?!

Thank you Involvement Volunteers for making a difference to the lives of patients by giving them a voice to be heard and helping to improve lives, services and culture.
