Volunteer Opportunities

Last updated 6th April 2020

At the present time, we are not recruiting new volunteers into our services. We continue to review this daily.

In light of the current national situation, we are in the process of redeploying our existing Nottinghamshire Healthcare volunteers to areas of demand in our services. We are co-ordinating our response with other NHS Trusts and voluntary organisations.

It is likely that we will soon be advertising specific volunteer roles for “fast-track” recruitment.

Please check our website regularly for updates and information on how to apply.

If you would like to volunteer to help NHS and community services in the meantime, the NHS Volunteer Responders scheme is being managed by the Royal Voluntary Service.

Nottinghamshire County Council are also keen for volunteers to help support their local communities. You can sign up to their database using a form or telephone helpline to register how you’re able to help. If you’re not able to leave the house at the moment, but still want to volunteer, they’re keen to set up a telephone befriending service with people who may be able to signpost to support or to help encourage physical wellbeing.
