Notts Healthcare Involvement, Experience and Volunteering
So much great work is produced at Arnold Lodge and it is great to see this being featured in this month’s newsletter. Natasha has a really strong track record of improving the experience of people in a whole range of settings over recent years and we really look forward to working with her to drive improvements at Arnold Lodge, bring new ideas and challenging us to pick up the pace of change.
I loved reading about the social problem solving event at Arnold Lodge, and how the patients were mutually supporting each other during discussions. It was also great to hear how goal setting was recognised as being helpful to support people to move forward in their recovery. I have always found goal setting an important element when providing peer support, as goals help one to move towards what they want, provide positive focus and promote a sense of self-mastery.
The artwork is fantastic too – so creative.
