10th Anniversary Celebration at Rampton

By Ingrid Hunt, Carer & Volunteer at Rosewood Involvement Centre, Ollerton

It was the 10th Anniversary for the Womans Wards this week and this celebration was attended by patients, members of staff at Rampton, Ruth Hawkins our Trust CEO, Annette a modern matron, ward managers etc…

Entertainment was there in the form of the Rosehips, belly dancers and Eric our guitarist volunteer from Rosewood singing some pop songs old and new and we were able to join with dancing and singing.

Many patients joined in the dancing “swinging their hips” which seemed to make them very happy and also singing along with Eric.

Refreshments were served, sandwiches, cakes and fresh fruit plus tea and coffee.

I attended this event with volunteers Michael, Eric and Nigel who is our Involvement & Experience Lead for Forensic Services. This started at 1.30pm and continued until approximately 3.30pm.

Just before the end of the celebration there was a raffle with some lovely prizes. This was an extremely well organised event enjoyed by all.
